24 Hours - Sick to Good

Little Worker Bees - I felt some sort of a cold or sickness coming on just yesterday.  I had been dehydrated and overworked, and I had been consuming an assortment of bad food.  I feel so much better now, though, and I want to share my secrets with you!

 

  • Drink a ton of water.

  • Gargle with salt water and listerine.

  • Drink even more water with freshly squeezed lemon in it.

  • Drink orange juice.

  • Eat some cut up pineapple from the produce isle.

  • Drink glasses of tea.

  • Take 4 cloves of garlic and swallow them with water throughout the day.

  • Eat at least two tablespoons of honey.

  • Drink a banana smoothie or two.

  • Avoid the television.

  • Do not use your brain for anything.

  • Sleep and sleep and sleep.

 

Additionally, I cannot stress the importance of blocking out cheese and meat.  These foods (along with sugar) give you an excess buildup of mucus.  This mucus, in turn, sits on your esophagus, irritates it, causes it to swell up, and ultimately become sore.  

 

If you put more food on top of that, your body doesn’t have a chance to work on its immune system.  Intaking plenty of liquids, instead, gives your body the opportunity to concentrate on getting you better.  More insight on going from sick to good in twenty-four hours ---here--- on my latest podcast!
